The CeMM Research Center for Molecular Medicine and the AITHYRA Research Institute for Biomedical Artificial Intelligence in Vienna have announced a joint international PhD program focused on addressing real-world challenges in molecular medicine and artificial intelligence. This program is designed for highly motivated candidates with backgrounds in medicine, biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or closely related fields. The research areas span infection, immunity, metabolism, cancer, rare diseases, network medicine, design chemistry, patient-derived organoids, bioengineering, ageing research, and more. Core pillars include genomics, proteomics, molecular and cell biology, epigenetics, genome integrity, bioinformatics, machine learning, systems biology, chemical biology, organic chemical synthesis, high-throughput genetics, and high-content automatic imaging.

Fellows will receive a fully funded scholarship covering salary, all research costs, university fees, and work-related travel expenses for four years.
