The role is focused on biomaterials, tissue/material engineering, cell & molecular biology, and related chemical sciences. The selected researcher will help develop proof-of-concept models using novel biomaterials and cell-based systems, and build Non-Animal Models (NAMs) for healthy and diseased tissues. The work is explicitly interdisciplinary and translational, with close collaboration with researchers, students, and postdocs at the Indian Institute of Science.

Eligibility highlights: a Ph.D. from a reputed institution is required. Fresh PhDs or candidates with up to one year of post-PhD experience are preferred. Applicants should have a strong background aligned with biomaterials, tissue/material engineering, cell and molecular biology, or chemical sciences. A reference letter is required upon selection, and applicants with competing business interests are discouraged.
