Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) is recruiting a
Postdoctoral Fellow
for research on
cognitive dysfunction in multiple sclerosis
. The position is based at the
Multiple Sclerosis Research Center
in Tehran, Iran, and focuses on cognition in MS patients, including assessment, neuropsychological profiles, longitudinal changes, and intervention studies.
The successful candidate will design and conduct studies on cognitive impairment in MS, analyze behavioral and neuropsychological data, lead manuscript writing, and present findings at international conferences. The role also involves collaboration with neurologists, neuropsychologists, and imaging experts.
Applicants should hold a
PhD
in
Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Science, Clinical Psychology
, or a related field, obtained within the last 5 years. A strong background in cognition and/or multiple sclerosis research is expected, along with experience using psychometric tests, statistical analysis tools such as
SPSS, R, or Python
, and scientific writing. A good publication record, including at least 1–2 first-author papers, is preferred.
The appointment is for
1–2 years
