The project, titled
“Green Hydrogen Plant: Converting Seawater to Hydrogen,”
focuses on developing and assembling advanced electrolyzer stacks for large-scale hydrogen production directly from
unpurified seawater
without desalination or pretreatment. The selected candidate will contribute to electrolyzer assembly, stack integration, system optimization, electrochemical performance evaluation, durability testing, and scale-up studies.

Eligibility:
applicants should hold a
PhD or MS
in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience in electrochemistry and hydrogen technologies is expected. Preferred experience includes alkaline, PEM, or AEM electrolyzers, electrochemical workstations, hydrogen generation systems, and materials characterization methods such as XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, and Raman.
