The Digi4Age Doctoral Network, funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action programme of the European Union, is offering 14 fully funded PhD positions across leading European universities and research institutes. This prestigious network aims to train a new generation of researchers at the intersection of ageing and digitalisation, focusing on impactful, interdisciplinary research that addresses the challenges and opportunities of digital societies for older individuals.

PhD candidates will join a vibrant, international consortium including LUT University (Finland), University Rey Juan Carlos (Spain), Open University of the Netherlands, Lithuanian Center for Social Sciences, Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences (Austria), and TU Dortmund University (Germany). The research areas span social sciences, humanities, business, health sciences, and care research, with topics such as datafied care relations, care ethics for AI, digital well-being in old age, digitalisation and healthy ageing, older workers and AI, financial technologies in the silver economy, e-commerce, technological economy of ageing, digital ageism, ICT perceptions, digital inclusion, and digital social security in old age.

Successful applicants will benefit from a fully funded 3–4 year PhD position, competitive MSCA salary (4010 EUR/month plus allowances), social security, research funding, and extensive training in cutting-edge methods.
