The ION Management Science Lab at HEC Paris is recruiting pre-doctoral (Master’s degree) and post-doctoral (PhD) researchers to join a dynamic team focused on the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) methods to enhance decision-making in business and entrepreneurship. The research group, led by Professor Thomas Astebro and Carlos Serrano, offers opportunities to work with data from the HEC Incubateur and the Creative Destruction Lab, and is based at Station F, the world’s largest startup campus and venture accelerator in downtown Paris.

Candidates with backgrounds in economics, AI, machine learning, data science, operations research, strategy, finance, marketing, or management are encouraged to apply, provided their research interests center on AI-driven decision-making in business.
