University of Twente (EEMCS, Department of Applied Mathematics) is recruiting an Assistant/Associate Professor in Mathematical Statistics or Statistical Learning in Enschede, Netherlands.

The position sits in the Statistics Research Group Twente, with a research focus on the development of statistical methodology for new data applications and the theoretical analysis of machine learning methods. Funding and conditions: this is a salaried academic appointment, initially for one year and potentially permanent after positive evaluation. Salary ranges from €4,728 to €8,673 gross per month depending on level and qualifications, with holiday allowance, year-end bonus, pension, partial remote work, campus sports access, and professional development support.
