Interested in cell ag? Want to get your PhD? Read on ?? We are seeking fully funded PhD applicants to explore the social, environmental and/or nutritional implications of cellular agriculture! Students will be funded via a USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture National Needs Graduate Fellowship (NNF) Award, the Tufts-USDA National Needs Doctoral Fellowship Program In Cellular Agriculture, Nutrition And Society. Core faculty include myself, Sean Cash (program director), Fang Fang Zhang, Joel B. Mason, Parke Wilde, Tim Griffin, and David Kaplan (Director of the Tufts University Center for Cellular Agriculture (TUCCA)). I am particularly interested in hearing from prospective applicants who would like to develop or enhance their hashtag#sustainability assessment toolbox as part of their doctoral studies – this could include environmental life cycle assessment, social life cycle assessment, and/or integrated modeling (environmental, social, economic, health impacts, as we do in the hashtag#LASTING Project).
