A fully funded PhD position is available at the University of Groningen, focusing on climate resilience in Maasai communities in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. Funding

The position is fully funded for 4 years, with a gross monthly salary starting at €2,901 and increasing to a maximum of €3,707. Additional benefits include an 8% holiday allowance in May and an 8.3% end-of-year bonus in December. Research costs are covered. The appointment is full-time and temporary, with a positive assessment required after the first year. PhD candidates contribute 20% of their time to teaching in years 2-4.

Requirements
