Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is seeking applications for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the School of Technology, Computing & Engineering. This opportunity is open to highly qualified PhD holders in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology from reputable institutions. The successful candidate will join a dynamic academic environment focused on advancing knowledge in computing, solving real-world technological challenges, and contributing to Africa’s scholarly work in the field of computing. Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree with a major in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field, a Master's degree in a related area, and a PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field. Peer-reviewed publications and evidence of graduate student supervision are required. Responsibilities: The role involves conducting lectures, seminars, and tutorials in various computing subjects, developing and delivering innovative teaching materials, providing academic guidance and mentorship to students, participating in curriculum development and enhancement activities, and conducting research to contribute to the scholarly activities of the School.
