The lab, led by Associate Dean Karthik Rajendran, focuses on cutting-edge topics such as techno-economic analysis, lifecycle assessment, bioenergy, carbon capture, e-mobility, application of machine learning in biofuels, waste management, process control and automation, sustainability assessment, feasibility of electric vehicles, and decarbonization of Indian industries and transportation systems.

Eligible candidates should hold an ME, MTech, or PhD in any engineering, technology, or interdisciplinary area. The positions offer competitive funding: PhD fellows receive a monthly stipend of 36,000 INR plus hostel and food, while postdoctoral researchers are offered a salary of 67,000 INR per month plus HRA.
