Maastricht University is inviting applications for a PhD researcher to join the GRAPHIC CARE IDD project, which focuses on co-developing graphic materials to improve antimicrobial resistance and infection prevention in residential facilities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This transdisciplinary, participatory project integrates perspectives from Critical Social Sciences, Public Health, Infection Prevention, Disability Studies, and Art. The research will be conducted within the Care And Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI) and involves collaboration with health professionals and residents in care facilities. Supervisors include Alena Kamenshchikova, Christian J.P.A. Hoebe, Petra Wolffs, Klasien Horstman, Famke Houben, and Casper den Heijer. The ideal candidate is curious about public health and infectious diseases and is motivated to work collaboratively to co-create tools for infection prevention.
