The position is designed for candidates with a completed diploma or master’s degree in Chemistry or Physics, and who possess knowledge or practical experience in scanning probe methods, optics, ultra-high vacuum, or low-temperature experiments. Proficiency in English, motivation, organizational skills, and teamwork are essential. The University of Graz offers an annual gross salary of at least €52,007.20 for a full-time position, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience. The contract is for four years, starting January 4, 2026, with a 30-hour work week.
