About this position

We have been researching hotspot detection using acoustic waves for temperature monitoring of electronics for a few years. We are looking for a PhD candidate to work on this idea and extend it more in the direction of prediction and using machine learning.

What's required

Applicants should hold a first-class or upper second-class degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline. Experience or strong interest in machine learning, signal processing, and experimental research is highly desirable. Good written and spoken English is required. Prior research experience in temperature sensing, acoustic waves, or electronics is advantageous but not mandatory.
