The School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham Malaysia is offering a PhD scholarship opportunity in the field of Drug Delivery. The project focuses on investigating the skin permeation and retention mechanisms of palm oil phytonutrients and their potential applications in topical and transdermal delivery. This research fosters collaboration between local and international universities as well as pharmaceutical companies, ensuring that graduates acquire industry-relevant skills. PhD candidates will gain expertise in pharmaceutical analysis, formulation development, in vitro cell culture, and in vivo studies. The position is funded by the FRGS - Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, providing a monthly stipend of RM 2800 for 3 years and a 100% tuition fee waiver. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, or related disciplines, with a strong academic record and proficiency in English.
