ADAPT-AI is a global hub dedicated to training and diversifying the next generation of researchers in creative technologies and artificial intelligence. Applications are now open for fully funded doctoral studentships starting October 2026, focusing on audience research, AI, and immersive creative technologies. The programme is one of the UK's ten Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Doctoral Focal Awards and is led by King's College London, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and London South Bank University.

PhD candidates will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of creative arts, technology, and audience engagement, collaborating with a host of world-class industry partners such as B3 Media, Target3D Ltd, Barbican Centre, Royal Shakespeare Company, and more. The programme offers three pathways to PhD study: Collaborative Doctoral Awards, challenge-based projects, or self-proposed research ideas.
