Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Health Professions ( SHP ) is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to work in the Health Informatics Department.
Postdoctoral Associate will work in the Addiction Neuroimaging, Motivation, and Interventions ( ANMI ) Lab, and will be deeply involved in NIH -funded projects related to drug addiction, biobehavioral mechanisms, and pharmaco- and behavioral-interventions. This position will provide valuable opportunities for professional development, including mentored training in experimental study design and data analysis, manuscript preparation, and grant writing. The Postdoctoral Associate will also assist in preparing, cleaning, and analyzing biobehavioral data, as well as preparing manuscripts, reports, and presentations based on the research findings.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
  • Assist with presentation and manuscripts preparation.
  • Prepare federal grant proposals based on conducted research and findings.
  • Assist with data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Assist the principal investigator and study staff on ongoing NIH -funded research projects.
  • Supervise the graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Doctoral degree in Cognitive Science/Psychology, public health, computer science/artificial intelligence (AI), informatics, or a related field required.
  • Qualified candidates must be in the process of completing or have completed the training and requirements for a Ph.D. Candidates must provide proof that all Ph.D. degree requirements have been fulfilled before their employment start date.
