The Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN) in Krakow, Poland, invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher (Adjunct) position in the Department of Theory of Complex Systems (NZ44), Division of Theoretical Physics. This full-time position is focused on theoretical research in anomalous diffusion, stochastic methods, and integro-differential evolution equations, with a contract duration of up to 33 months starting July 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will participate in research projects on diffusion phenomena, including anomalous diffusion in single- and multi-layer systems. Responsibilities include solving differential-integral equations using analytical and numerical methods, contributing to the scientific life of IFJ PAN, disseminating research results through publications in leading journals and presentations at seminars and conferences, and applying for external research funding.
