Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, Poland, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral research position in Cell Biology at the Department of Cell Biology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. This NCN-funded position focuses on molecular biology, gene expression analysis, and behavioural experiments on honeybees. Applicants should hold a PhD degree obtained within the last 12 years and demonstrate strong expertise in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, RNA extraction, and cDNA synthesis. Experience in gene expression analysis, experiment design, and conducting behavioural experiments on live honeybees is essential. Candidates must not have an allergy to bee venom and should possess a very good command of English for independent publication in international journals. Experience in obtaining, managing, or carrying out research projects is also required.
