Fully-funded PhD in Hydro-ecology and Thermal Drone Applications in Rivers

A new fully-funded PhD opportunity is available focusing on the use of thermal drones for river monitoring, in collaboration between the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) and the University of Birmingham. The project will be supervised by Dr Cedric Laize, a hydro-ecological modeller at UKCEH, and Professor David M. Hannah at the University of Birmingham. The research will explore innovative applications of thermal drone technology to study river systems, with an emphasis on hydro-ecology and environmental monitoring. The successful candidate will join a dynamic research team and benefit from interdisciplinary expertise and resources at both institutions.
