The University of Namur is offering a half-time Teaching & Research Assistant position in Economics (PhD-track) within its Department of Economics. This unique opportunity combines teaching and research responsibilities, with teaching duties split between the Bachelor’s programme and the Specialized Master in International Economics and Development (SMIDE). The position is open to candidates from all fields of economics, with a preference for those interested in macroeconomics. Research will be conducted within one of the department’s research centers, part of the DEFIPP Research Institute. The contract is a 50% assistantship, which may be complemented by an additional 50% researcher contract. The successful candidate will be expected to start on October 1, 2026. To apply, candidates should download the application form from the University of Namur website, complete it, and submit it along with a CV, a short research description (in English), and a motivation letter by email to Prof. Guilhem Cassan ([email protected]) and cc [email protected] by April 29, 2026.
