The Applied Artificial Intelligence and Sensing Laboratory (AIS Lab) at the University of Dayton is excited to invite applications for a fully funded PhD position in the fields of remote sensing, multimodal sensing, AI, and numerical simulation.
The successful candidate will join a vibrant, interdisciplinary team working on cutting-edge projects such as:
Development of an integrated acoustic & vision sensing system for real-time hazard detection in construction work zones (sponsored by the Ohio BWC)
Research in digital twins, Bayesian uncertainty analysis, photogrammetry, SAR applications, AI-driven material property evaluation, and multiphysics modeling
