The École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Doctoral School invites applications for its PhD programs across a wide range of disciplines. Upon acceptance, students must register with the Doctoral School within a year. If appointed by an EPFL laboratory, an employment contract will be established, providing funding for the duration of the doctoral studies. Final enrollment is contingent upon the selection of a thesis topic, supervisor, and secured funding. International students should allow at least three months for administrative processing of visas and work permits.
