Requirements
Applicants should have (or expect to obtain) at least a 2:1 honours degree in biological sciences (such as veterinary medicine, medicine, ecology, agricultural science, or a related discipline) with strong quantitative and programming skills, or a degree in statistics, mathematics, applied mathematics, computer science, or a related STEM discipline with an interest in biological sciences. Proficiency in statistical modelling and experience with R and/or Python (or similar) is required. A relevant Master’s degree (e.g., infectious disease epidemiology or biostatistics) is desirable. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet University College Dublin's English language requirements.
