The Department of Robotics and AI at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, is offering fully funded PhD positions under the supervision of Dr. Danish Hussain. This opportunity is ideal for candidates passionate about robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Research topics include deep compression methods for neural networks, model compression for intelligence on tiny devices, machine learning-based autonomous navigation of magnetic microrobotics in constrained environments, edge-cloud collaboration frameworks for latency-aware AI applications, augmenting machine learning for nanomaterials property optimization (for energy storage and memristor applications), and AI-based visual SLAM for autonomous robots.
