About this position
Exciting PhD opportunity with us at the
School of GeoSciences
on Quantifying the potential of CO2 mineralisation in UK reactive rock formations, CASE supported by
The Carbon Removers
.
This project will use a novel x-ray transparent environmental cell to identify how age and alteration state affects the rate and capacity of CO2 fixation in altered reactive rocks from the UK. This will generate new knowledge to assist with engineering secure CO2 storage in reactive formations.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on the 6th January 2025. Further details are available here: https://lnkd.in/eB6QAaQV
