The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is offering a full-time, 3-year PhD fellowship in Genetic Epidemiology. The research project focuses on understanding how genetic variation influences disease risk, utilizing large population-based cohorts such as the HUNT Study and the UK Biobank. The successful candidate will engage in advanced genomic-statistical techniques, including genome-wide association studies (GWAS), polygenic risk scores, Mendelian randomization, functional bioinformatic follow-up, and network analyses.
