The Department of Social Sciences at the University of Basel is offering a four-year PhD position in Political Science, with a focus on Political Sociology, under the supervision of Professor Denise Traber. The position is initially for one year, renewable for up to three additional years following a positive evaluation. The successful candidate will develop and conduct an independent PhD project in the fields of Political Sociology, Political Economy, Political Behavior, or related areas, and will be expected to teach one course per semester in German, as well as contribute to the activities of the Political Science department.
