Are you interested in a PhD ?? with a community focus?

If so, we have an incredible opportunity Sheffield Hallam University for up to seven fully funded PhD students to play a key role in C4, our new UK Research and Innovation Centre for Collaboration in Community Connectedness ??? . The emphasis is on interdisciplinary projects that explore how to create and sustain communities which have high levels of participation and social connectedness. Possible topics, include, but not limited to:

?? Social and community infrastructure
?? Cultural, physical and natural assets
?? Relationships across the life course
?? Digital and technological innovation and inclusion
?? Systems, markets and institutions
?? Equality, diversity and inclusion

Social science students would be based in the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) but other disciplinary homes will also be available. There's a great pool of supervisors to drawn on, including Sarah Pearson , Peter Wells , Ian Wilson , Ellie Munro , Ellie Lockley , ALESSANDRO DI NUOVO , Andrea Wigfield and more besides.
