About this position

A central focus of our research is the development of earth abundant, transition metal photocatalysts for small molecule reactions (H2 evolution, CO2 reduction) as well as for various organic transformations. These processes are highly relevant for renewable energy and sustainable chemistry. We are seeking a highly motivated student (or postdoc) to join our team to work on projects in this area. For further information please see our website at: https://www.uni-regensburg.de/chemie-pharmazie/anorganische-chemie-hess . (Further information on the university and Regensburg area can be found at: https://www.uni-regensburg.de/ )

Candidates must have a strong background in inorganic chemistry, experience with synthetic organic techniques and, ideally, experience in the synthesis of coordination compounds. If interested, please send your CV to Prof. Hess . Short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview and asked to provide at least two academic references.
