Postdoctoral Position in Cognitive Psychology at University of Zurich

The Cognition Lab at the University of Zurich, chaired by Prof. Klaus Oberauer, is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position in the Department of Psychology, Cognitive Psychology Unit. This is a 3-year position (80% FTE) with a possible renewal for one additional year. The successful candidate will join a vibrant research environment focused on the capacity limits of cognition, including working memory, long-term memory, and attention. The lab employs experimental and individual-differences studies as well as computational modeling to advance understanding in cognitive psychology. The position involves both research and teaching (one course per semester). Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology or a related discipline, have experience with experimental research, possess excellent methodological knowledge and skills, demonstrate a very good command of English, and show a strong interest in pursuing an academic career in cognitive psychology. Additional desirable qualifications include experience publishing in international journals, programming skills, and familiarity with mathematical or computational modeling. The University of Zurich offers an attractive research environment, excellent lab infrastructure, and a salary according to Cantonal regulations.
