Postdoctoral Researcher in Development Economics

The Department of Economics and Management seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join the ROAD project, a joint initiative funded by FNR and FNRS, under the supervision of Professors Luisito Bertinelli and Jean-François Maystadt (UCLouvain). The successful candidate will conduct empirical research in development economics, focusing on infrastructure and development, and collaborate with a PhD candidate on the same project. Responsibilities include managing large datasets, utilizing non-traditional data sources such as GIS, satellite-based, and social media data, contributing to scientific publications, and participating in conferences.
