PhD Position in Adaptive Strategies of Emerging Crops under Climate Stress

A fully funded PhD position is available at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) under the China Scholarship Council–UAM Joint Doctoral Programme (CSC-UAM). The research project, supervised by Associate Professor María Reguera, focuses on the adaptive strategies of emerging crops such as quinoa and amaranth under combined abiotic stresses. The project integrates physiological, molecular, and epigenetic approaches to identify key drivers of resilience and heritable tolerance traits, contributing to the development of climate-resilient breeding strategies.
