Texas A&M University is offering the Chancellor’s National Academy STEM Ph.D. Fellowship Program through the Hagler Institute for Advanced Study. This prestigious fellowship is designed to attract top STEM students to Texas A&M and pair them with National Academy members and rising star faculty for collaborative research. The program is open to outstanding students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields who will begin their doctoral studies in Fall 2026. Benefits include a $40,000 annual stipend for four years, full tuition and fees, and student health insurance. If recipients also secure major national fellowships, their stipend increases to $50,000 per year. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field by August 2026, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.9/4.0, and be U.S. residents, permanent residents, or eligible noncitizens. The application period opens in September 2025 and closes on January 19, 2026. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with a distinguished group of National Academy members and Hagler Fellows across a wide range of STEM disciplines, including engineering, science, mathematics, and nutrition. To apply, candidates must seek admission to a STEM PhD program at Texas A&M and submit the fellowship application before the deadline. This program offers a unique environment for research and mentorship at one of the nation’s leading universities.
