Doctoral Fellow in Management Accounting and Control – Department of Accounting, Corporate Finance and Taxation

Ghent University invites applications for a full-time doctoral fellowship in the Department of Accounting, Corporate Finance and Taxation. The successful candidate will join a vibrant research group and conduct experimental research in the broad field of management accounting and control. The research will focus on behavioral questions, such as how organizations influence employee behavior through management accounting and control practices. Both laboratory and online experiments are possible, and the specific research topic can be tailored to the candidate’s interests, including areas such as incentives, costing system design, creativity, misreporting, whistleblowing, performance measurement, performance feedback, and corporate social responsibility. The position aims to support the completion of a doctoral degree in Business Economics. The doctoral fellow will present and publish research results at international conferences and in scientific journals, and will assist with limited educational tasks within the research group.
