Candidates whose research interests overlap or complement these areas are especially encouraged to apply. The department is internationally recognized and participates in several Finnish Centres of Excellence and research consortia, such as the Flagship of Advanced Mathematics for Sensing, Imaging and Modelling (FAME).
Postdoctoral Researchers are expected to focus primarily on scientific research, with some participation in teaching. The working language is English, and proficiency in English is required.
