Postdoctoral Researcher in Advanced Materials, Hydrogen Energy, and Environmental Sustainability at ITS

The Department of Chemistry at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position under the supervision of Dr. Wahyu Prasetyo Utomo, Assistant Professor. This opportunity is open exclusively to Indonesian nationals who are passionate about advanced materials, hydrogen energy, and environmental sustainability. The research will focus on advanced material design for photocatalytic and electrocatalytic hydrogen production as well as environmental remediation, aligning with global efforts toward clean energy and sustainable solutions. Applicants should have a PhD obtained within the last five years and must demonstrate a strong research record, including at least one Scopus Q1 publication as first or corresponding author within the last five years. Candidates should be available for full-time research at ITS Surabaya and must not be current ITS faculty members or affiliated with other institutions during the program. Preferred backgrounds include material science, electrochemistry, and photo/electrocatalysis, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the research group. The successful candidate will receive a monthly stipend of IDR 10,000,000, access to state-of-the-art research facilities, opportunities for collaboration, support for international publications, and strong academic networking.
