MOFebruary 2026 Microsymposium and Workshop on Porous Materials, MOFs, and Crystallography (No Degree Opening)

The MOFebruary 2026 microsymposium is a Polish scientific event celebrating the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, focusing on the development and applications of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Hosted at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Wrocław, from February 10–12, 2026, the event brings together Poland-based researchers, students, and leading international experts in porous materials, MOFs, COFs, and crystallography. The program includes lectures by distinguished speakers such as Prof. Stefan Wuttke (AGH Kraków) and Prof. Stefano Canossa (ETH Zurich), a poster session for PhD and undergraduate students, and a one-day workshop on X-ray diffraction and coordination polymers led by Prof. Canossa. The symposium is organized by Prof. Wojciech Bury (University of Wrocław), Dr. Marzena Pander (Jagiellonian University), and Dr. Min Ying Tsang (Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT), with support from local academic staff. The event is free of charge, with no registration fee, and aims to foster networking and collaboration within the Polish MOF research community. Registration and abstract submission are open from January 15 to February 1, 2026. The event is particularly relevant for researchers and students interested in reticular chemistry, catalysis, materials science, and advanced crystallographic methods. Participants can expect contributed talks, networking opportunities, and hands-on training in crystallography.
