Are you passionate about improving energy efficiency in mineral processing? The Sustainable Minerals Institute at UQ is offering PhD scholarships through the Collaborative Consortium for Coarse Particle Processing Research (CPR Program)—now entering its second five-year phase!

This multidisciplinary program tackles coarse particle processing challenges by integrating:

?? Hydrodynamics
?? Comminution
?? Geo-metallurgy
?? Circuit design

We're looking for high-achieving graduates in minerals processing or engineering (minimum Honours Class IIB or equivalent) to join a vibrant, industry-focused research environment.

What's required

Applicants must be high-achieving graduates in minerals processing or engineering, with a minimum Honours Class IIB or equivalent. Prior experience in minerals processing, geo-metallurgy, process mineralogy, or mineral characterisation is highly desirable. Applications are assessed competitively based on academic record, publication record, honours and awards, and employment history. Demonstrated academic achievement in minerals processing, chemistry, or chemical engineering and potential for scholastic success are required.
