The Medical University of Graz, in collaboration with the Austrian Science Fund (FWF), is offering 15 fully funded PhD positions within the Doctoral Program “TRP-Mediated Cation Signaling Pathways.” This interdisciplinary program focuses on the study of TRP ion channels, which are crucial for the regulation of calcium and sodium transport into cells. These channels play a vital role in numerous physiological processes, and mutations can result in a spectrum of diseases, including pulmonary hypertension, heart disease, and disorders of brain development.
