Project: Advancing Indoor Air Quality for Vulnerable Groups: Co-Development of Tailored Advice and Feedback Mechanisms
Indoor air quality (IAQ) is critical to the health and well-being of vulnerable populations, but existing approaches often fail to provide personalised, actionable advice that can drive meaningful behavioural change. This PhD programme focuses on applying behavioural science to optimise IAQ and thermal comfort for vulnerable groups, such as individuals with asthma or COPD, through the co-development of tailored advice and feedback mechanisms.
You’ll gain:
• Access to specialist training in AI, data science, psychology, and building performance
• Access to advanced equipment and software to support your research
• Interdisciplinary supervision across Architecture, Psychology, and Computer & Information Sciences
• Opportunities for industry collaboration
• A funded place (UK applicants) plus a PGCert in Researcher Development to boost your career
