About this position
I have an opening for a PhD student in the area of spacecraft dynamics and control, with focus on optimal control. Starting Spring 2026 or Fall 2026. Interested candidates may send me their CV.

Role Description
The PhD Student will engage in advanced research on spacecraft dynamics and control systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing, testing, and implementing algorithms, conducting simulations, analyzing data, and writing research papers.
Qualifications
Strong background in spacecraft dynamics, control theory, and simulation
Proficient in programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or comparable tools
Excellent analytical and research skills
Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
Previous research experience in aerospace engineering is a plus
