About this position

The African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI), part of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), is offering a postdoctoral position in Agrifood Science. The postdoctoral researcher will prepare and conduct research activities in agrifood technology, assist in teaching as part of the biomass valorization program, and support courses related to food technology, biorefinery technology, and instrumental process and product control. Additional responsibilities include assisting with departmental services, writing research proposals for external funding, supervising Master and PhD students, and publishing manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Agrifood science or a related field, 3-5 years of relevant experience, a strong publication record, and proven experience supervising graduate students. The role requires a high interest in applied research, the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory.
