About this position
The Ulster University School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences is inviting final applications for its 2026/27 PhD Studentship Competition. There are six fully funded PhD positions available, each supervised by leading academics in the field. The research topics span a diverse range of cutting-edge areas, including alleviating hypoxia for enhanced cancer therapy, sustainable practices in community pharmacy, development of low-cost materials to mitigate algal blooms, pharmacist-led medicines optimisation in metabolic care, F-gas free ultrasound contrast agents for diagnostics and therapeutics, and AI-augmented rapid determination of G-quadruplex structures from sparse NMR data.
