Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) is offering a funded Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) position for a Master's in Communication Engineering, focusing on the analysis of coastal radar systems. This research opportunity is open to Malaysian students who are willing to register as full-time postgraduates at UniMAP. The research will be conducted in research mode and is designed for candidates with a strong background in electrical, electronic, or telecommunication engineering.

The project centers on the analysis and development of coastal radar systems, a critical area in communication engineering with applications in maritime safety, surveillance, and environmental monitoring. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree (BSc, BEng, or BEng Tech) in a relevant engineering or science field, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent. Familiarity with simulation and numeric computing tools such as MATLAB, Scilab, ADS, or AI-based platforms is highly desirable, as these skills will be integral to the research work.

The position offers a monthly allowance of RM 2200 for two years, providing financial support throughout the duration of the master's program.
