About this position

Hello everyone, I joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT (BHU) Varanasi as an assistant professor. I am grateful to my PhD advisors, Prof. Anuradha Banerjee (IIT Madras, Chennai) and Prof. R. Rajesh (IMSc, Chennai). I also thank my Postdoc advisor, Matteo Ing Benedetti (University of Trento, Italy).My research focuses on mechanics of cellular solids, fracture of quasi-brittle heterogeneous materials, spring network models, and fracture of ice.I am open to collaborations and welcome inquiries for master's and PhD positions.
