I am looking for PhD student(s) or a postdoc to fill positions in my research group. The work will focus on morphing blades for ocean current and wind turbines. There are multiple tasks with these projects, so I am looking for individuals with experience (or interest) in modeling fluid dynamics (hydrodynamic or aerodynamics). We are using both OpenFAST and CFD software for the study. Experience with machine learning or AI is also useful for this project. At a later stage in this work, I anticipate we will be conducting experiments either in a wind or water tunnel. It is not necessary to have all these skills.
