Dr. Taeyeong Choi's Learning and SEnsing Research (LaSER) lab at Kennesaw State University (KSU), located in the greater Atlanta area, Georgia, USA, is recruiting highly motivated students for MS and PhD positions in Computer Science starting August 2026. The lab specializes in deep learning, artificial intelligence, and robotics, with a strong emphasis on applications in agriculture and food systems.

Selected students will work on innovative projects such as vision-based mobile robot navigation, developing AI algorithms for autonomous navigation in crop fields, and electronic nose (e-nose) technology for food safety, focusing on food type classification and contamination detection. The LaSER lab is recognized for pioneering research in deep representation learning to enhance AI capabilities for real-world agricultural and food safety challenges.
