The Synthetic Organic and Polymer Research (SOPR) Lab at Istinye University, supervised by Dr. M. Mustafa Cetin, is seeking highly motivated PhD students and Postdoctoral researchers. The lab focuses on cutting-edge research in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), and Advanced Materials. Some projects are conducted collaboratively in Istanbul, Turkey, and China, offering a unique international research experience.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Chemistry, with preference given to those with a Master's degree for PhD positions. Candidates must be willing and able to conduct research in both Istanbul and China, and must not have any passport, visa, or work-permit restrictions for travel or work in China. A strong interest in synthetic organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, and advanced materials is essential.
