There are no tuition fees for the programme, but students must pay a semester contribution of about 330 EUR, which covers a student transit pass and statutory accident insurance. Funding opportunities include two one-year stipends (800 EUR per month) awarded annually to new BIGS-PhD students, starting at the beginning of the second year. Additional funding is available for conference trips and research stays.
